One should also visit the exciting world of Astrid Lindgren in Vimmerby, as well as the Western town of High Chapparal in Värnamo. You can go on a trip to Ädelfors and pan for real natural gold in the Emån river, fun for the whole family. The equipment is included in the entrance fee and you can take the gold home with you. Norra Kvill National Park is near Rumskulla to the north of Vimmerby.
