This romantic 160 years old domicile is situated right in the middle of the Värmland forests and not far away from the lake Mangen.
Passing small hiking trails and enchanted deep forests, you will directly reach the most popular bathing beach of the lake Mangen, which is also called "Värmlands Riviera".
Here you will have many activities for children, a café and much more. The sandy beach of about one kilometer length invites to sunbathe or to build sandcastles, and there are water temperatures of around 18 degrees for the whole summer.
Your holiday home has been modernized in 2013 and offers enough room for up to eight persons. To the holiday home belongs a spacious property with large grass areas, nearly endless wild flowers and berries and in August you will live so to speak right in the middle of blueberry bushes. And the surrounding woodland is mushroom pickers heaven!
If you feel like a trip to a larger town, Karlstad (25 min away) could be an interesting alternative. Discover and explore the town on the water by using one of the passenger boats which drop their anchors in the watercourses of the town. Or discover this lovely town on land. You can also borrow a bike free of charge on the town square, if you like to do so.
There is a beautiful museum with a great gift shop as well as lots of other attractions.. The tourist office will be found next to the central library.
The accommodation is just a couple of minutes away from Ängsbacka, a Course and Festival Center
