On the outskirts of the beautiful town of Horn is this house which has a rural idyll but still is close to the center which has both a large grocery store, cafe and restaurant. The resort is located by Lake Åsunden and is the final destination for the Kinda canal. The house is next to other houses and the owner couple has their house next door but you have your own part of the lawn in front of the large entrance door. The house is very fresh and nice with freshly painted surfaces and cabinets. Downstairs there is the spacious kitchen and next to a living room with dining table and a tiled stove that you can fire on rainy days when you want to snuggle inside. Upstairs are two bedrooms. Next to the side entrance there is a newly built terrace where you can sit and enjoy your morning coffee and look out towards the pasture where the farmer may have released some calves. It is walking distance to e.g. the bath located at the resort's camping, where there is a bath with a jumping tower and a small sandy beach and the opportunity to rent a canoe or eat something at the restaurant. Around the town the nature is beautiful with lots of forests, hiking trails and lakes, and to Vimmerby and Astrid Lindgren's host it is only 30 km or if you want to go to Astrid's childhood home Näs which is just outside Vimmerby and on the stretch Vimmerby to Mariannelund there are both Emil Katthult and Bullerbyn and the new Filmbyn.
