The surrounding forests are rich in both berries and wildlife. Kungasjöleden is one of many nice walking paths. For those interested in fishing, there is fine fishing in both Mäsen and Oklången, Fishing licenses apply. To GEKÅS the large shopping center in Ullared it is only a short drive and also to the pleasant summer town of Varberg. The city with lovely salty baths, both with and without clothes, from both sand and rocky beaches. There is also a large cultural offer, famous market trade on Wednesdays and Saturdays and lots of cozy restaurants and cafes. Varberg is best known for its magnificent fortress and museum, with i.a. The Bocksten man and the bullet that killed Charles X11. Next to the fortress there is a large newly built fortress bath and an incredibly beautiful cold bath house where there are bathing possibilities all year round. Right next door is the nice Societetshuset and a 100-year-old Varmbadhus with a large range of activities.
