Welcome to Sanden på Norra Finnö, now merged with Yxnö, it is one of the larger islands in the Sankt Anna archipelago in Östergötland, the mainland is connected by the Lagnö bridge. The cabin dates from 1850 and is located approximately 200 m from the bathing area Sanden, the bathing area offers a fine-grained sandy beach, grassy areas, a bathing jetty from which you can dive, and a nice barbecue area with a roof and benches. The ground floor consists of a kitchen and living room with a sofa bed that can be used for extra beds, a bedroom with a double bed and a tiled stove. Shower room with toilet and in the living room/dining area there is a flat screen TV. Upstairs, a fairly steep staircase leads up to the sleeping loft with sloping ceilings and two single beds of 90 cm. The house is located in a genuine archipelago village and in the picturesque garden there is a terrace with outdoor kitchen, table, chairs and barbecue. Driveway all the way. The island has a wonderful mix of different nature types such as sea, coastal meadows, fields and forests. There are extensive fishing waters and nice bathing spots all around the archipelago. The archipelago line from Tyrislöt that goes to the popular island of Harstena. In Tyrislöt, 10 minutes away by car, there is the Sankt Anna archipelago museum, kayak rental, campsite and a small shop. At Hålfjärden in the Sankt Anna archipelago, 10 minutes away, Mons båthus is an archipelago bistro with good food and a fantastic view of the sea. Stegeborg well worth a visit 25 kilometers from the cabin, here you can walk the Stegeborg loop around and experience the landscape's rich cultural history, beautiful natural environments and the oak landscape, the trail is about 12 km long. Stegeborg's castle ruins and Örtagården, open all year round, are close to the entrance to the Göta canal with all the beautiful passport boats. Cozy harbor tavern, a real archipelago tavern by the sea, summer café with home-baked goodies. Ice cream bar and kiosk next to the harbor pub and a country store a short distance away If you want to drive a bit, it might be a good idea to visit Kolmården zoo or a visit to Söderköping, which is a beautiful and pleasant city to walk in, a charming small-town idyll with the Göta canal that runs through the city, surrounded by old buildings, shopping , cultural monuments and restaurants along the harbour. Bring your own bed linen, final cleaning can be ordered as an add-on, otherwise the guest cleans himself. Experience the Archipelago and beautiful Östergötland up close.
