Welcome to Hemfjällstangen, a quiet and cozy cottage area a couple of kilometers from Sälen's slopes and activities. Here you live with the forest at the junction with direct proximity to rugged hiking trails, beautiful bogs that in the summer offer the forest's gold - Hjortronet. Nearby there are fine fishing waters in both mountain lakes, rivers and smaller stream systems. Fishing license required. The cottage was built in the late 60s but newly renovated and fresh as late as 2019. In the past, everyone slept in the same room and it was common that there were wall beds and so it is preserved even now in modern times. There is room for 5 to sleep. 2 people in the bunk bed and 2 people in the double bed. On top of the double bed there is a popular so-called roof bed that is 120cm wide. where children love to play hide and seek and cuddle in the evenings. In the cottage there is a complete kitchen with dishwasher, living room with wood burning stove and TV and a sofa bed if you become more. The bathroom has underfloor heating as well as a shower, sauna, toilet and sink. A nice porch to listen to the birds' morning song together with the coffee cup is right outside the door. On the plot there is also a very popular barbecue area where many who lived in the cottage cook over an open fire. Cast iron utensils for outdoor cooking are available in the cottage. The seal in the summer is very popular. Here are excursion destinations such as Njupeskär (Sweden's highest waterfall), Stensjön (above Lindvallen), Bäversafari, Långtjärn, Olnispagården (where Gustav Vasa spent the night), Sälen Bikepark and much much more to discover. Welcome to the calm where you will be taken care of by the calm and I promise that you will want to come back.
