Welcome to this very nice and cozy cottage with a covered outdoor pool, large generous balcony areas with access to both sun and shade and a cozy annex with an associated glazed conservatory. The cottage is located as the last house on the street in an undisturbed, peaceful location where you wake up to birdsong and the rustle of the forest. Proximity to Gullmarsfjorden, Sweden's only threshold fjord and the municipal bathing area in Barkedal, here there are jetties, cliffs and sandy beach, a nice place to eat, swim and hang out, the area is also known for its great diving opportunities in deep oxygen-rich underwater environments. In the immediate area there is a soccer field, boules court, tennis court, pay & play golf course, mini golf and great opportunities for walking on coastal paths and roads. The accommodation is also a perfect starting point for exploring fishing villages, the archipelago, nature reserves and other interesting excursion destinations in central Bohuslän. From the parking lot at the entrance, you walk across the large lawn to the cottage's entrance. On the inside, you are greeted by a hall that transitions into a large living room with comfortable sofa group and TV, dining area and an open kitchen with stove, separate oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee maker and dishwasher. Inside the kitchen is a bedroom with a large comfortable double bed. In the bathroom with underfloor heating, there is both a shower and a washing machine. From the living room you come via a small room to the large patio areas with summer furniture and barbecue and a pool area. The pool is 20 m2 large and 1.32 m deep. On the balconies there are pavilion roofs set up for those who wish to shade everything so that you can swim, sunbathe, sit and enjoy a good meal and something good in a glass in peace and quiet. At one edge of the balcony area there is a glazed conservatory with summer furniture, this is connected to an annex building with two sofa beds. The cabin has WiFi connection. Stågenisset with the main town of Lysekil, which is popularly known as "The City by the Sea", is located at the far end of the sea band at the mouth of the Gullmarsfjord. Experience the fantastic feeling of freedom that the sea gives at Stångehuvud nature reserve with fine smooth red granite rocks that are unique in Bohuslän. During the summer season, many concerts with famous artists, sing-alongs in the park, etc. are offered. Several nice shops with a selection for different tastes. A pleasure for the children is to ride the small train around Lysekil, during the trip you also get a bit of history about Lysekil or why not walk through the older part of Lysekil from the 17th - 19th century. Cozy buildings along the narrow street towards Norra Hamnen, which in recent years has become a beach promenade. Here you can take a dip in the salty sea from the jetty and on a fine summer evening you can experience a fantastic sunset reflected in the sea. Feel free to rent a canoe and experience the beautiful archipelago along the smooth granite cliffs. For those interested in golf, the club can be swung on Holma's fine 18-hole course.
