Welcome to a nice and cozy guest house in a natural location close to the sea, swimming and nature reserve. From here it is easy to take part in everything that this fine coastal area has to offer. In the immediate area there are several nature reserves, burial grounds, hiking trails with wonderful vantage points both over the lake, fjord and archipelago. In nearby Gerlesborg, there are nice bathing spots as well as an art school, stone carving and a collective workshop where you can both see various exhibitions and also attend various training courses. It is also geographically well located for day trips to other charming coastal communities both to the north and south. Via a nice small glass veranda you arrive at the entrance and further into a spacious hall that takes you through an open kitchen with stove, microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee maker and ice machine into a living room with a comfortable sofa group, dining room furniture and Smart TV , from here you go out to the cabin's balcony area with summer furniture group and barbecue where you can enjoy good meals and discuss the day's adventures or plan for new excursions. The cottage has three bedrooms, one with a double bed, one with a sofa bed and one with a bunk bed (90cm). The bathroom has a shower and washing machine. 2 adult bikes and 2 children's bikes are available to borrow to explore the local area and within walking distance is the area's own tennis court. The cabin has WiFi connection. Hamburgsund is the area's largest town, here are fine shops, restaurants, café, fishmongers, mini golf and several nice bathing spots. Here you can also rent kayaks, try diving, go on boat charters and archipelago boats to see the fantastic archipelago, e.g. to the old lighthouse and pilot lookout on the Väder Islands. The community also has an outdoor stage "Scen på Bönn" which during the summer has several different events in music and children's theatre. From Hamburgsund there is a car ferry across to neighboring Hamburgö with more nice bathing spots and coastal paths. Bovallstrand is a nice old fishing village and with its location right by the sea, salt bathing becomes a given activity and here are also the famous bathing islets which are one of Bohuslän's finest bathing spots suitable for both swimming and fishing. In the buildings, much has been preserved from when shipping, fishing and stone-cutting flourished, which gave Bovallstrand its fine atmosphere. In the immediate area there are more pleasant and well-visited archipelago communities such as Smögen and Hunnebostrand, there is also a zoo called Nordens Ark where you can meet around 80 of the world's endangered animals. The beautiful nature and the opportunity to meet animals such as wolves, snow leopards or to come face to face with the world's largest feline, the Amur tiger, make the zoo a very popular excursion destination.
