Welcome to cozy Ornö, a large island in Stockholm's southern archipelago. There is a car ferry from Dalarö, so it is easy to get there and back. The house is about 5 km from the ferry. The house is functional for a family, with four bedrooms, a double bed, 2 single beds and a bunk bed. A living room with wood stove and dining table is nice, with two windows and a balcony with a sea view. The shower and sink are in the bathroom, while the composting toilet is in a room with a separate entrance from the outside of the house. The plot is a hilly forest plot with, sea view, blueberries, pine and fir and mountain rocks. A path leads down to the water, on the other side of the bay within walking distance, is the bathing beach with jetty and sandy beach. There are plenty of games in the house for cozy game nights. On the balcony there is outdoor furniture and a charcoal grill for nice barbecue dinners at sunset. Grocery store and a fine restaurant can be found in Kyrkviken, which is less than 4 km from the house. If you want to shop, there are more shops on the mainland, Dalarö has a good home bakery for good bread. There are more stores in Haninge. There is a wave bus on the island and on the mainland you can take the bus to the commuter train and on to Stockholm. From Dalarö you can also take boats to other islands in the area, for nice archipelago tours. If you want to shop locally grown, there are vegetables and eggs to buy from local growers.
