In Bjälveröd, just south of Strömstad, you will find this family-friendly and rurally located cottage in a sunny south-facing position and within walking distance to the sea and swimming. The cabin is the last place with forest and birdsong as the nearest neighbor, around the cabin large, lovely lawn areas spread out, perfect for all kinds of play and games. At the entrance is a bus stop that makes it easy to visit the city and the surrounding areas, e.g. Daftö resorts with an amusement park and a number of other attractions or Lagunen's camping area with several nice swimming beaches, these have many great opportunities for activities both on land and at sea for both young and old. Here you can rent a bicycle and take a ride in the beautiful surroundings or into the center of Strömstad. In the area there are also several nice hiking opportunities on coastal paths and in the nearby forest there are both berries and mushrooms. When you approach the homely and sunny cottage, you are struck by the large, generous lawns. From the vestibule you reach the cabin's entrance and further into a welcoming hall. The cottage has a rustic and homely tone, such as a large kitchen with electric stove, separate oven, fridge/freezer, kitchen furniture, kitchen sofa and high chair, two living rooms, one of which has a comfortable sofa and TV, as well as a "reading room" with comfortable armchairs, WC and the central location of the cottage in the form of a large glazed veranda with dining room furniture and a cozy corner with sofa group. From the hall you reach the second floor with three bedrooms, one with a double bed, a walk-through room with a comfortable 140 cm bed and further into a bedroom with three single beds. Bathroom is in the basement with its own entrance from the outside where there is a shower and two toilets, washing machine is in another part of the basement with its own entrance. The garden has large fruit trees that provide restful shade and on the lawn there is summer furniture and a barbecue, a lovely place to read a good book or sit and enjoy good meals while you discuss the day's adventures or plan for new ones. The cabin has a fiber connection. In Strömstad there is a large selection of activities, rich restaurant life, pleasant shopping in small shops that are close to each other or why not just sit and enjoy all the boats in the harbor area. From the cottage you can take the bus to the city center and all the entertainment or to the bathing spots, of which there are several to choose from. If you want to experience islands and the archipelago environment, there are several boat charters and bathing boat tours from the harbor in the center to several islands in the archipelago, such as Furholmen or Kosteröarna but also to neighboring Norway. It is also possible to rent a boat or kayak for your own explorations. For those interested in golf, there are several 18-hole courses in the area. Welcome to the charming Strömstad area.
