In Småland's beautiful hinterland, approx. 1 km from lake Rusken, is this spacious house with a lovely view of rural idyll. The house is surrounded by beautiful natural areas and an old cultural settlement with Nydala monastery church dating back to the 1140s. There are three nearby nature reserves and a hiking trail – the Munkaleden. Lake Rusken is known for having Sweden's best pikeperch fishing and only 3km away is Skärvalla bathing place, which is perfect for families with children with very shallow water, picnic tables, barbecue area and changing rooms and toilets. NOTE. Lake Ylen is closed to fishing during April, August and September. The house is on two floors. Floor one, is reached via a short flight of stairs. However, there is a wheelchair lift to enter the first floor. Included is also a part of the second floor, this part is only reached by stairs. You enter the house through a hall where there are stairs to the second floor. Further into a hall that connects the entire floor. To the right you enter the charming, large kitchen. With its lovely green kitchen and large lovely windows, there is plenty of room here for holiday cooking or long breakfasts. You have all the amenities you need, such as a coffee maker, kettle, microwave, etc. Inside the kitchen is a bedroom with a double bed and a bunk bed. To the left you will find the large living room with plenty of space to socialize and bedroom no. 2 with two single beds. On the top floor there is an additional bedroom and bathroom. This house is perfect for the large family or perhaps two families traveling together. In the immediate area there is a lot to do with the lake so close and a walking area. But if you still want to go on an adventure, Vrigstad is a little over 10 km away, Värnamo 25 km away and Jönköping about 60 km away. Popular destinations such as text Astrid Lindgren's World is approx. 2 h drive away, Isaberg Mountain Resort approx. 1 h drive, High Chaparall approx. 45 min and Boda Borg approx. 25 min. The fantastic Stora Mosse National Park is also at a good distance for an excursion, about 50 km. There are two fantastic golf courses nearby, Näsbyholm next to lake Hindsen, 15 km. Hooks Herrgård's golf course at Hoksjön 25 km. So whether you just want to enjoy Småland's lovely nature and lake scenery or if you want to go out and explore, this house is an excellent starting point!
