In the vicinity there are opportunities for riding, canoe rentals, golf course and much more. Linköping (50 km) is the 5 largest city in Sweden and has several other attractions such as Götakanal locks, Gamla Linköping. Astrid Lindgrens world is about 50 km away. The Östragöta Leden (long distance path) and the forests offer many opportunities for hiking and cycling.
