Charming villa with scenic location and proximity to both fresh and salt water This beautiful villa that was once a general store in the resort has today been transformed into a modern accommodation but with a lot of personal feeling and charm left over from a bygone era. Lakes are located near the house and you have the opportunity to rent a canoe. Only 30km away you have the coast with saltwater bathing if you wish at Gustavsbergsbadet near Uddevalla. You are welcomed into an airy hall and to the left you have the kitchen with seating for 4-6 people and an old merchant's counter as a kitchen island. It has recently been renovated but the old frames have been retained. There is a dishwasher, hob and oven, as well as a refrigerator with a freezer compartment. Here in the kitchen there is also a wood stove if you want to hear the crackle of a fire. In the next room there is a day bed and a desk, also lots of board games in a beautiful cabinet. Then we enter the living room with dining area for 10-12 people and seating area for four people. There are books to read and space to play and just be. At the bottom there is a small hall with another entrance door as well as a toilet with underfloor heating, shower and washing machine. From the first hall, the stairs lead up to the upper floor and there are three large bedrooms with a double bed in each room. They are modernly decorated and there is plenty of space. There is also a cozy living room up here with a sofa bed that becomes a 140cm bed. There is also a TV. Since the house is large, they have recently installed an air / water heat pump. It should be borne in mind that the house is next to a 50km road that is busy. Dogs can be fine to take with them but unfortunately not cats as the owners are allergic to cats. The nearest bathing area is about 400m more, if you would rather have a jetty and diving tower, there is a bathing place in Stigen, 6km, which offers this. About 300m away there is a canoe for rent to the cottage and there are 3 different lakes to paddle in which really gives peace to the soul and an experience of the beautiful nature. In Färgelanda, 10km, there is a grocery store, pharmacy, liquor store, pizzerias and library. Around the area you can roam in scenic forest and enjoy the calming nature. In the garden there are outdoor chairs and tables for coffee and the lawn invites both play and games. Rose bushes, chestnut trees and leafy contribute in a cozy way. Here you get relaxation, tranquility and wonderful nature experiences just around the corner but have a modern and good accommodation.
