28 km north of Kuusamo, Ruka 6.5 km, Valkeisenlampi pond 40 m, rock/mud bottom beach, quickly becomes deeper, good pier. Plank-built holiday apartment, built in 1988, kitchen fixtures and beds renovated in 2007. Bedroom 1: 2 beds and bunk bed, bedroom 2: 2 beds, combined kitchen/living room, electric sauna. Situated on Valkeisrinne area. Other cottages in the area. Nearest ski lift is Pessari, which can be reached by skiing down the steep slope and over the ice of Yli-Pessari -pond.
Other distances: Oulanka National Park / Pieni Karhunkierros Trail 20km, Riisitunturi Fell 26km.
Additional information: Distance to Ruka village (Western Ruka) 1.6 km by walk along the hiking route during summer. Pier is in a joint use of other cottages.
