In the beautiful landscape south of Växjö, lies this cozy cottage. The cottage is located about 500m from Lake Ygden but is also close to Åsnen and its lake side archipelago. Åsnen is Småland's third largest lake, but it is not the size that makes it so special. The uniqueness of Åsnen is its fantastic island world and all the bays that bring the area 700 km of beach, mainland and islands together. In rural surroundings, this cottage is located with a cosy garden, large patio and your own private wood-burning hot tub. Which can also be used for a cooling dip during the hot months. The terrace with its private location is perfect for cosy summer breakfasts, afternoons in the sun, or why not spend the evenings here and take a dip in the heated hot tub. (Note. Burning in a hot tub is not possible if there is a no fire) The house has the kitchen in the center with its dining area and direct access to the patio. At each end are the two bedrooms with a double bed in each. Out on the patio in an annex is the part containing the two bunk beds, this part is accessed only from the patio. The newly renovated bathroom is large and airy and also includes a washing machine and dryer. Although the house is single-storey there are high thresholds and a couple of steps to get around. The house is perfect for the large family, or two families traveling with slightly larger children who want to sleep together in the annex, or why not the couples who travel together. Regardless, the open floor plan in the house with good connection to the patio is made to socialize together. In the community of Tingsryd, about 7 km away is Tingsryd Resort, which offers an aqua park, spa, mini golf, fishing and much more when the spirit of an excursion falls on. Otherwise, the town of Växjö with its cafés, shopping and restaurants is only a little over 30 minutes by car away.
