In Lilla Horn, not far from Öland's west coast, on a large and natural plot of land on Alvaret, this summer dream is located. A winding dirt road of 1.5 km leads you through the beautiful Öland Alvaret down to the sea, to beautiful Jordhamn with its famous mill. Here you can enjoy extraordinary views and beautiful sunsets in Kalmarsund. The large plot gives a wonderful feeling of seclusion and calm, a real dream for nature-lovers with Alvaret's rich birdlife and special flora/flowers/orchids that are unique to the area and therefore may not be picked. You have an architect-designed house with an associated guest house. In the main house you have an open living room with a sitting area, dining area and nice kitchen. Here there is an exit to the balcony with lounge furniture. There are balconies on both sides of the house so you can choose whether you want to enjoy the sun or the shade. There are three bedrooms in the main house, the first with a double bed, the second with a sofa bed for one person, the third bedroom which has a separate entrance from the outside has two single beds. In the more newly built guest house, there is a double bed and a bunk bed. Toilet and shower are in the main house and an electric toilet in a separate house on the plot. The house has fiber/Wifi installed, but no TV screen. At Alvaret you can enjoy the view of beautiful Highland Cattle cows grazing. Therefore, be sure to close gates to protect the delicate soil and plot vegetation. Nearby is the nature reserve Lilla Horns leaf meadows. Källa and Sandvik are within cycling distance. You are also close to Öland's best golf courses and Ninni's kroppkaksbod, which is mentioned in the White Guide. In wonderful Byxelkrok (30km) you can stroll around among the boathouses down in the beautiful marina. You only have 20 km to Böda's undulating beaches. There are many beaches to explore. On the West side there are e.g. the fishing village of Grythamn with its fine cobblestone beach. On the eastern side there are a number of sandy beaches. Fires/smoking not allowed both indoors and outdoors due to the high risk of fire at Alvaret. Not rented out to youth groups. Charging of electric cars not permitted. NOTE: Parking of a maximum of 2 cars ONLY takes place on the paved lot inside the gate, not on surrounding land to protect the fragile Alvarsmarken and its vegetation.
