The archipelago boat Wittus docks in the vacation village, it operates between Karlskrona and Östra. To the west of it, a Soviet submarine ran aground in 1981, in the shoal Gåsefjerden. On the mainland, daily grocery shopping can be done in Torhamn. The coastal road to Kristianopel is also a nice excursion destination, where there are handicrafts and farm stores.
