Positive: The location was good, within walking distance of the city.

Negative: 1. During the summer, it stayed very bright until quite late at night, and the blinds were not suitable for blocking out the light. They were white and let almost all the light through, which made it very difficult to fall asleep. It affected our stay so much that we were honestly counting the days until we could move out. 2. Some basic items, such as hand soap and other essentials, were missing from the apartment. We contacted the host and were told that these would be provided. They even asked us to leave the door key so they could enter the apartment and deliver them. However, when we came back, nothing had been delivered. Later, we were told that the items had been left somewhere in the garage. After asking for the location of the garage, we went downstairs to check but never found the items. In the end, we gave up, contacting them multiple times; we are also tired. Why was it necessary to ask us to leave the apartment key in the first place? It felt more like an excuse. We only stayed for three nights, so this was particularly disappointing. 3. As we booked through Booking.com, we expected the process to be relatively simple and convenient. However, immediately after making the booking, we were asked to provide passport copies, a selfie, and a deposit. We had never experienced this with a Booking.com reservation before. Because we were uncomfortable with these additional requirements, we immediately asked whether we could cancel the booking, but our request was not accepted. These extra verification steps made the whole process unnecessarily complicated and stressful.
