This exceptional and well-equipped wooden house enjoys an idyllic location right by Pielinen Lake in a forested nature paradise around the little village if Koli in the east of Finland. In front of the house there is a roofed veranda with a table and chairs. From here you can enjoy the extensive view over the lake. A little further towards the lake you can warm up in the spacious sauna in the separate pavilion. A grill area next to it invites you to enjoy leisurely meals outdoors. You will need a car and there are secure parking spaces right in front of the house. Your pet is also welcome.
The generous 96m² wooden house belongs to a holiday resort accessed along a hiking trail 1.5km long and by car about 4km along the main road. It provides a living and dining room, a separate and fully-equipped kitchen, three bedrooms, a bathroom and a sauna. All the rooms benefit from underfloor heating, air conditioning and central heating. The living room provides two comfortable black leather sofas, a coffee table, a wide flatscreen TV and a wooden dining table with ten chairs. The large, open fireplace enhances the atmosphere of well-being and exudes cosy warmth on cooler evenings. The separate kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, a four-zone electric stove with a cooker hood, an oven, a fridge with a freezer compartment, a microwave, a kettle, a toaster and a coffee machine. Of the three bedrooms, one is furnished with a large double bed, one with two single beds (90 x 200cm, can also be joined together as a double bed), and the other with two bunk beds for four children. The bathroom has a shower cubicle, a washbasin with a wall mirror, a toilet and a washing machine. You can take time out to relax in the electric sauna in the wooden shed. A cot and a highchair are available and the reliable wireless Internet connection can be used free of charge.
Despite the idyllic, secluded location, you are not totally alone. It is about 100 metres to the next wooden house with helpful neighbours. A walking path leads from your house to the nearby Koli mountain and the national park. The nearest larger shops are in the village of Koli about 7km away. In winter the area is a paradise for skiing and winter sports enthusiasts. There is a skiing trail about 24km long right in front of your house.
