Welcome to this house located in a holiday paradise with its own jetty. The holiday home has five bedrooms divided into one with a double bed on the first floor, upstairs there is a single bed in the hall, further two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds and a bed for children under 12 years of age. In the annex there is a double bed and next to it is the guest toilet. The main building has a bathroom with a shower and a well-proportioned family room with a fireplace. The kitchen is well equipped and has several working areas. Big and lovely lawn invites for play and games.
A winding trail leads you to idyllic Westcoast nature and beautiful rock formations up the mountain that surrounds the cabin. From here you get a wonderful view out over the sea and the horizon to the west with epic sunsets. Continue down the stairs to your own bathing bay with jetty and cozy boathouse with sauna and kitchen. Here opens the opportunity for relaxing evenings with sunsets that you will never forget. On the other side of the fjord, you can see the city skyline of Lysekil. A system of masts nearby shows the military guarding of our coast, the masts do not affect us humans but are only a reminder of our proximity to the sea.
To see and do on Skaftö and the surrounding area
From the holiday home, you are close to many sights and activities in Bohuslän. Skaftö is usually described as a pearl in the middle of Bohuslän and is characterized by its idyllic archipelago with fishing communities, shipping and seaside resorts. A must during your holiday is to visit both Fiskebäckskil and Grundsund with its beautiful harbor channel. Further, the TV series Saltön was recorded on Skaftö and then mainly in Grundsund.
On Skaftö it is close to nature and here there are a number of beautiful hiking trails. During hot summer days, there are plenty of leaf spots to choose from, e.g Rödbergsvik, Klyftan and Vigerna. If golf instead, the island offers two golf courses.
