Here it is only 50 meters down to the lake where there is also a wood-fired sauna with room for at least 6 seated people. Firewood is included in the house rent. The sauna raft also has a changing room with benches and hooks. There is also an outdoor hot tub for relaxtion and recreation that you can rent during your stay. It is always possible to send a request on blocked periods in the calendar.
During you first day the owner also lives in another accommodation on the estate to be available for any help or questions you may have. If you want to take a trip on the lake, there is an aluminium boat for a maximum of 4 people and with oars. There are several terrasses with and without roof and the sizes vary of 10 - 40 m2 approximately. Here you have an incredibly cosy orangery and conservatories that are glazed, and they are a total of just over 50 m2. Grapes grow there. Here there is also infra heat if it becomes a chilly evening. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, freezer, and dishwasher.
To see and do in Tranås and the surrounding areas
Lake Loren has an excellent water quality and the lake has for many years served as a drinking water supply for those who live around the lake. Fishing is allowed in the lake for tenants. There are also nice bike paths in the surroundings with very little traffic.
Here you have many good excursion destinations within a relatively short distance, such as Gränna, Visingsö, Brahehus, Gyllene Uttern.
Visit Omberg and Ellen Key Strand. There are hiking trails and also mountain bike trails. Beautiful views from the mountain. There are several barbecue areas in the area.
Tåkern and Tåkern's nature reserve and nature room are ours to visit. A cozy fairy tale path is available for the children. Alvastra monastery ruin, Vadstena with castle and church, Eksjö with cozy wooden town. Lake Sommen with its archipelago and steamboat and much more.
If you prefer to spend your time by the house, there are many activities there as well. There is a small fireplace outside where you can grill sausages.

If you rent the house during the season (3 Aug - 30 Nov), the opportunity to fish for crayfish is included. Cages, about 20 pieces, and baits can be rented for SEK 900 EUR 90 per week. The supply of crayfish is very good.
It will be a wonderful end to the summer to fish for crayfish, take a sauna and watch the sunset.
