Positive: Having spent the last few months in Scandanavia in a series of hostels, campsites, cabins, hotels and apartments, we feel can’t rate this place highly at all. It feels partially renovated. Some bits are good but some are not good at all. There are good bones here but attention to detail is poor. This place may work for you but it wasn’t great for us. On the up side, it’s in a good location close to town and beaches with a private parking space (although you’ll need to be directed to find it). The apartment does look like the pictures you see on the website. The floors and walls are good, the furniture and décor are ok without being great and the bed was very comfortable. There’s a mini oven, microwave or sandwich toaster for meals plus crockery and cutlery and there’s a decent sized fridge. The towels were a decent size and quality.

Negative: On the down side, it’s what you can’t see in the photos that’s the problem. There is definitely not a fully equipped kitchen here. There’s no plug in the sink, no tea towel, sharp knives but no other cooking utensils, no pots or pans, no kettle, toaster or coffee maker. There is not a full stovetop or full sized oven. There’s a mini oven with two hobs on the top, although no pots or pans. The kitchen could also do with a thorough clean. It’s old, badly presented and could easily be 100% better. There is a shower room separate to the toilet but it seems unfinished with no screen or curtain to the shower, no bath mat and the base not boxed in properly. It’s slightly rusted and there’s a light fitting very close to the shower head. It’s all very off putting. The bed is poorly prepared and there is only one duvet which doesn’t reach the sides of the empty bed let alone cover two people. We used our own bedding. Lighting in the main room is poor with only one ceiling light and no lamps and the TV had no signal.

Summary: We’ve stayed in much cleaner, better equipped places for the same or less money.
