Nice and well-furnished cottage in the Sjöhagen area in Bolmstad. The cabin is cosy with a large balcony and a pavilion if you want to sit under a roof. The plot is approx. 400 m2 with garden furniture and barbecue. The cottage has 1 bedroom with a double bed (without a door). In the living room, which has an open floor plan, there is a sofa bed and you have the option of sleeping up in the loft (steep ladder), alternatively there is a double bed and sofa bed in the annex. Here in the annex there is also an extra fridge and freezer. The kitchen and bathroom are well equipped with a dishwasher, induction hob, washing machine and tumble dryer. The cottage is for a maximum of 8 people and a dog. You have a wood stove to enjoy during evenings. The house has an air source heat pump and radiators if needed and the electricity, Wi-Fi/ and Chromecast are included in the rent. You live here approx. 200 m from Lake Bolmen. Lake Bolmen has good fishing and you can rent a boat and buy a fishing license at Bolmstad Säteri. You have your own mooring, which is included in the rent, where you can park the boat you rent. The beach here is very child-friendly with swings and a nice sandy beach. There is a boat ramp by Bolmstad harbour.
To see and do in Ljungby and the surrounding area
You live only 12.4 km from Ljungby and here there are plenty of shops and restaurants. Ljungby also has many museums such as The Sven Ljungberg and Fairytale Museum. In summer, you can have a coffee at Bolmstad Harbour. Take the opportunity and visit all the moose parks around Ljungby. Elinge Moose Park and Laganland as well as Smålandet near Markaryd, which has moose safaris and is a nice excursion destination. Then you should have a Swedish “Fika” at Gräddhyllans Lantcafe, which is very nice. In Lagan there is Laganland and Slussen, which is a large second-hand shop. Visit Bolmsö and take the ferry across Sunnaryd. Then continue towards Tiraholm Fisk, which is located on the eastern side of Bolmen in Halland. Store Mosse, High Chaparall and Hestra are pleasant excursion destinations within easy reach. Why not take a day trip to Astrid Lindgren's World in Vimmerby or Gränna. Halmstad and Tylösand are only an hour away if you want to spend a day by the sea.
