To the ski area Hovfjället with 14 slopes and very nice cross-country skiing trails it is about 10 km. To Torsby it is about 25 km and here you have a good choice of shopping and restaurants. In the summer there are usually many different events in the Torsby area. A very nice excursion near the accommodation is to visit the sandy beach in Långnäs. In the surrounding forests there are many mushrooms and berries. In the summer you can also go cross-country skiing in the famous ski tunnel, which is 20 minutes from the accommodation.
