Positive: Location was very convenient for us and the forest behind the cottage was lovely. The cottage was very well appointed and charming and neat as a pin.

Negative: The owner had put labels on everything (e.g. where to put each type of glass, dish, pot, and pan) and had *very* specific cleaning instructions for us. The instructions were so specific and lengthy that our overall impression of the cottage was affected---they felt like a buzz kill to us.

Summary: Lovely place, but be prepared to cater to the host's specific requests.
