Positive: Brand new panoramic Lodges, it was so clean and the smell of wood gave such a warm feeling. The best luxury accommodation we have stayed at. The Lodges were very warm and well mapped out. We were surprised they managed to fit 5 family members as usually they are for 2-3 members. The price included breakfast and Reindeer feed with marshmallow around fireplace. We even got to see a very faint northern light which made it worthwhile. There is a hotel restaurant onsite and the whole feel of being in a Reindeer farm just had a different feel. Breakfast were provided for both nights at the lodge. Staff were very friendly and even came down to substitute alcoholic beverage for none alcoholic with chocolate as we don't drink and provided vegan breakfast and marshmallow upon request. They are busy so to remember this was really appreciative. They provide overall to hire. They also leave manual at hotel with very clear instructions. The sauna was amazing!!

Negative: The on-site reception was quite far from our lodge and required a transfer in very cold conditions. It wasn’t clear whether transfers were included or how to book them, which left us feeling a bit stranded. We were given a free transfer to Santa’s Village but not on the return journey, and again it was unclear whether this was included or just a courtesy. Although we knew overalls were an additional cost, we felt that given the price of the stay they should have been complimentary. There was also little guidance on where to go, what to do, or how to order food. A buffet appeared to be available but required pre-booking, which wasn’t clearly explained. We were told to keep our distance from the reindeer, despite expecting to at least see them from afar, as well as the huskies. We did get to feed the reindeer, but this took place in the dark, making photos impossible. Conflicting information from staff about visiting the reindeer during the next day for photos during day time added to the confusion. On our final day, we hoped to see the reindeer from afar before leaving but weren't accommodated, the children were sad. Overall, the experience was very positive, but we had assumed the reindeer would be nearby or visible from the lodge, which wasn’t the case. Finally, the cups, glasses, and teabags provided were only sufficient for two to three people and lasted just one day.
