Positive: The photos make the apartment look pristine, so I understand why some of other quests might have felt a little disappointed. The cabinets in the kitchen area and the couch in the living room have their glory days behind them. The bedsheets were clean, but as they were wrinkled they did not appear like that (if you understand what I mean - had they been ironed, you wouldn't feel the need to check, if they were actually clean). This type of shower (open and no shower base) is very common in Finland - so I had no problems with that (floor squegee is very efficient), but I agree that the bathroom would benefit from the new shower curtain. Also, I cleaned only the dishes that I had used - one of the other guests mentioned a wine glass with the spots (residue) of a drink, I had seen it and left it as it was (did not use it, did not find it necessary to clean after someone else). However, I don't want you to think that I disliked my stay, it is not the case. The apartment was cozy and quiet, with a comfy bed. The price was also very good. The location was great (there is a great restaurant on the other side of the street, go there to see an autograph left by Jackie Chan and eat very tasty dishes). If you are not a fan of walking, the tram stop is nearby and the Metro station is also close (the HSL app will help you find connections and buy a ticket for your ride). There is a nice view from the bridge leading to Lauttasaari island (some of the apartment blocks on that island have the same type of flat doors as in this apartment complex).
