Positive: Peaceful, calm and beautiful area of Valamo was a pleasant experience. The room facilities were quite modest and minimalist, with small single beds and a shared toilet, but it felt suitable given the monastery atmosphere. Nice simple breakfast was included

Negative: The room had only thin white curtains, and it was very bright outside even at night during summer, so it was impossible to sleep in the dark. Dark and thick curtains would have been much appreciated
