It is also a popular area for swimming, either from the outdoor area with a small bay and sandy beach close to the house, or from the pier. If you wish to go hiking, there are hiking trails in Norsjøløypa or to Loddo. Otherwise, short distance to Storebø and Bekkjarvik with shops and good restaurants. Recommended is also a day in Bergen, where you can experience both the aquarium, the fish market and the old town with its beautiful wooden houses.
