There is good fishing in the lake surrounding the house, there is a fish cleaning area with running water outside the house. A popular destination about an hour from the house is Storforsen, one of the largest free waterfalls in Europe. In winter, you can rent snowmobiles in the area and there are many hiking trails. There are also three alpine ski resorts: Prästberget, Vittjåkk and Kåbdalis.
