Welcome to Varamonviken, Motala, Östergötland's lake town. Tastefully furnished farmhouse 150 meters from Vätternstrand, the house is for two people and well-planned compact living. It has a large balcony with a sunny location and a wonderful view down to the lake Vättern. Double glass doors to the balcony are the entrance to the house where you are greeted by an open floor plan with a common room area, TV, sofa and stove. The kitchen has all the facilities needed in a household, next to the kitchen is the bathroom with shower, WC, sink and another entrance door. To get up to the sleeping loft, a ladder is placed and there is a comfortable double bed of 180 cm. For those who want to use the fireplace, it is possible to order wood from the owner before arrival. Access to the garden's grassy areas in front of the house where your parking space is also available. Source sorting of garbage is close at hand and if you wish to rent bicycles contact the owner. Motala is very scenic by the lake Vättern, Göta canal and Motala Ström. Motala has a rich history with lots of interesting people, stories and works of art. One of our most beautiful gem is of course the Göta canal. Being part of a sluice is an experience just that. Your beach in Varamonviken is in a private cottage area with fewer visitors to the beach, but the famous part of Varamon is at Varamobaden, which is considered to be one of Sweden's finest sandy beaches with several kilometers of beach strips. The protected bay with Vättern's clean, clear waters together with the shallow sandy beach make Varamobaden really child-friendly, but is also a mecca for water sports such as windsurfing, kitesurfing and SUP. Motala can also offer a number of other activities and events. One of the most famous one is the cycling week, for over 50 years Motala has been the start and finish of the Vätternrundan, the world's largest exercise race by bicycle. Over the years, the event has been expanded to include Minivättern, Tjejvättern, MTB-Vättern, Halvvättern, Vätternrundan 100 km and Vättern Bike Games. Vadstena city a creative history is a popular destination that welcomes many visitors. Here you find yourself in the middle of history, among castles, monasteries and medieval buildings. The picturesque and cozy city center with cobbled streets and old preserved wooden houses is charming, genuine and alive.
