Homely cozy house from the end of the 19th century with an idyllic location. The house is nicely renovated and has been carefully preserved with fine details. Out in the yard is a beautiful orangery with a dining area and sofa furniture where you can enjoy many pleasant moments together. The house is on two levels, on the lower floor there is a large open kitchen with wood stove and living room with fireplace, by the entrance is the bathroom. The upper floor has a family room and a bedroom with a double bed, and a room with a single bed. Gustafsnäsviken 4 kilometers away has a fine sandy beach and bathing jetty. There are many lakes where you can try your luck at fishing, hiking and cycling in the area are popular. Långshyttan's moose park is a family-run park with a big heart and personal guidance. Here EVERYONE can pet and feed the moose. Långshyttan is a beautiful community with lots of water and meadows. The park also includes forest and meadow land with access to a swimming area for visitors and a barbecue area by the lake. With only a 30-minute drive you will reach the Falu copper mine, here you can join the adventure down in the mine and hear about its thousand-year history and experience the special environment with winding passages and large rock rooms. The mine tour goes through parts of the mine dating back to the 17th century. There are many nice destinations for day trips, e.g. Borlänge there you can visit Sahlins ostrich farm, on the farm there is a café and a farm shop. A visit to Nusnäs is a must if you are in Dalarna in the village of Nusnäs outside Mora, a popular destination for those who want to get really close to the origins of the Dala horse. Nils Olsson's Dalahäst factory has been manufacturing Dala horses since 1928. Dalarna is a fantastic landscape with its historic red-painted quarters and the rural countryside. There is much to discover here for the whole family. Carl Larsson's colorful home in Sundborn is a popular destination and a source of inspiration. The farm is shown every day and visitors learn more about the world-famous artist couple, art, love and their noisy life. At the Carl Larsson farm there is also a shop with design directly from the farm. Shops, shopping and good restaurants can be found in Falun 4 miles from the house.
