Near the cottage, 300 m away, there is a nice beach that offers a refreshing swim. Norrtälje has a variety of attractions to offer throughout the year and from there can you participate in organized archipelago tours. From Kapellskär you can do a day trip to Åland. It is an hour to both Stockholm and Uppsala car journey. If you just want to find peace and relaxation, this is absolutely the right place in magnificent nature.
