Welcome to a beautiful place in Gothenburg's Northern Archipelago, named Grötö. The sea, swimming, restaurant and an absolutely wonderful holiday is just nearby. The beautiful archipelago environment where you can pick snails, take a running round or just lay out the towel on the sandy beach and enjoy free time together. Here you live in a newly built semi-detached house on 1.5 floors in a child-friendly area near the sea. On the first floor there is a welcoming hall with space for outerwear and shoes. To the right is one of the house's bedrooms which has a double bed which is 160cm. Bathroom with toilet, sink, shower, washer and dryer and a large and bright complete kitchen with dining area. In direct connection you come out on a lovely terrace with outdoor furniture, barbecue and sun loungers. These can also be moved to the long side in the afternoon when you want to enjoy the wonderful evening sun. Upstairs there is a lovely living room with sofa and armchair and smart TV. Here is the house's second bedroom which has a double bed 180cm and wardrobes and views of the sea. On the upper level there is another bathroom with toilet and sink. The restaurant in Gläntan, which is open during the summer season, is just around the corner from the house, so you can not get closer to well-cooked food. Outside the restaurant there is a large lawn for play and outdoor games as well as a swing and a little further away there is a football pitch. In the port where the ferry docks, new boats move to the guest harbor daily. There is also a summer kiosk with ice cream and sweets and a boules court. For those who love crab fishing, there is a large jetty where the children like to hang out together. Feel free to bring a life jacket for the little ones if they are to be close to the water. REMEMBER THAT THERE IS NO FOOD STORE ON THE ISLAND. YOU CAN ORDER ORDER FOOD VIA ICA shop online (enter postal code 47535 and you can get delivery to the ferry terminal on Grötö) Grötö is known for its fantastic nature with oak forests as the biggest characteristic. It is the only remaining part of the old oak forest that previously existed on several of the islands in Öckerö municipality. On the other islands there are no or few traces of the oak left. The island also has foxes, deer and grazing sheep in the summer. Warm welcome!
