Charming village reminiscent of "Bullerbyn" in Astrid Lindgren's saga, with faluröda houses and white knots, a nice cottage a stone's throw from Dalälven only 250 meters away. The cottage is located in scenic and rural surroundings where the houses are surrounded by meadows, fields and have a fantastic proximity to fishing, wilderness, swimming, Rommealpin and much more! Here you live in a cozy cottage on a common plot with nice owners who you can also rent a boat, wood-fired sauna and engine heater on site. Here you get a peaceful holiday in a rural cottage idyll! In the typically faluröda cottage you live here with a cozy, open floor plan between kitchen and living room with cozy sleeping loft, bathroom with shower and washing machine. Access to wifi and TV with boxer for several TV channels. Outdoor furniture and barbecue on plot. Enjoy everything nature has to offer such as berry and mushroom picking, barbecue areas, ski trails, hiking trails and proximity to fishing and swimming in Bysjön and Dalälven, among other places. Only 250 meters from the house there is a jetty with a bathing ladder where you can take a cooling dip in the Dalälven river. In Dalälven you can also canoe and fish. If you want a sandy beach with a jetty and lawn, Masenbadet is located in Hemsjön, about 2 km from the house. For those of you who like to hike, you can hop on Bysjörundan outside the door, which offers varied nature and a rich bird life along the road with several information boards. Gyllberget is also a popular nature area for those of you who want to hike in the wilderness or why not in Frostbrunnsdalen, a ravine known for its rich animal and plant life with a nice café during the summer. Tips on what you can do! Cycle or rent a canoe by Lake Runn, which is located between Borlänge and Falun and has several islands that give an archipelago-like character. Enjoy the nice restaurants and cafes you find along the lake. Also take the opportunity to make a historical trip in Falu Copper Mine in Falun. For those of you who want to see moose a little closer, then you must not miss Långhyttan's moose park! Good to know! If you want to bring pets, let us know and we will ask the owner!
