Just above Gävle in the beautiful Gävle bay is this cottage with fantastic views of the sea. The large balcony facing the sea is made for wonderful summer evenings. And you have the same fantastic views from the kitchen, dining area and living room. The area was originally a fishing village out by the sea and there is a lot to see and experience. You can buy freshly smoked buckling or fresh fish directly from the fishermen. Visit Böna Lighthouse or swim at one of all the lovely beaches along the coast towards Bönan. There is also a café with light dining where you can enjoy Gävle's beautiful archipelago environment. The cottage was built in 2004 and then completely renovated in 2017 again so it is modern and has all the amenities you need. According to the owner, it is excellent for 2 adults traveling together, but there is also a sofa bed in the home office room if you want to be four instead. There are plenty of things to experience in the immediate area, but you also have Gävle only 13km away, with its restaurants, cafes and shopping. Or you can pay a visit to Limön that is an idyllic summer island in the Gävle archipelago that was already visited in the 19th century as an excursion destination. Here you can swim, fish, grill at picnic areas, walk on the nature trail, see the old and new lighthouse and visit the café during the summer.
