Well maintained bicycle paths lead to both Båstad and Skummeslövstrand. The charming town of Laholm is only a short car trip away. Winding around the town before reaching the sea is the Lagan stream, excellent for salmon fishing, and there is also a fish-smokery with a restaurant, as well an many other shops, cafés and sights. Fishing enthusiasts can also try the nearby waters of Stensån and Öresjön. Fishing licens is needed. Vallåsen alpine ski resort is an short drive away, and the Hallandsåsen area is well known for the fine hiking trails. The city of Halmstad and the fantastic beaches in Tylösand, entertainments and many golf courts is not far away to the north.
