Håkon the Good is buried here and in Viking times the regional headquarters (Høvding) was here. In addition to its exciting history, Seim offers beautiful nature, many fishing waters and the fjord nearby. Seimsvannet, the nearest lake, is popular with anglers all year round. In summer you can also swim here very well. Short drive to Lyngheissenter. Highly recommended! Fantastic nature that makes you travel back to the Viking Age.
