From the house it is close to nature along Lake Vättern. Lovely walking paths and the possibility of swimming in Domsand. Lake Vättern offers crystal clear water. A popular hiking trail is Bankerydsleden which is about 20 km long and it connects about 2 km from this house. A newly built outdoor pool (within 2 km, chlorinated) is available in central Bankeryd. The house was renovated inside in 2019. Bankeryd is a suburb of popular Jönköping. Distance 10 km. Jönköping is a wonderful summer city surrounded by beautiful lakes. Here are many nice restaurants with good food. Around Jönköping there are several nice golf courses. If you go north along the E4 towards Stockholm, you can visit the town Gränna which is known for its polar bears and which offers magnificent views of Lake Vättern.
