On Alholmen, an island in Mälaren outside Ekerö, you will find this paradise for families with children or those looking for a relaxing holiday in a nice cabin on a car-free island. A very nice cabin with a lake view and unbeatable proximity to the bathing jetty! Here you get to experience fantastic nature as this island has an extraordinary flora and fauna and offers beautiful places to explore. The accommodation is located on a beautiful, green plot characterized by beautiful vegetation, pleasant seating areas and invites children to play Welcome to Mälaren's pearl, Alholmen! From Slut's harbour, you will be taken by boat by the house owner to Alholmen. Once at Alholmen, after a short walk you will find a green and leafy garden with a larger cabin with a fully functional kitchen, dining table and living room in an open plan with a lovely wood burning stove. Two bedrooms, one with a double bed (160 cm) and one with a bunk bed. Bathroom with combustion toilet, sink and glimpse of the lake. Exit to a nice balcony with a breathtaking view of Lake Mälaren. In the pleasant guest house there are more sleeping places with a double bed (180) for two and an extra bed more suitable for children. On the grounds there is an outdoor shower with hot water, a wonderful feeling to shower in the open air! Next door there is also a practical outdoor kitchen with water (not drinking water). In addition to this, there are several pleasant seats on the grounds next to nice plantings and vegetation. Access to charcoal grill. Enjoy the rich natural life and its beautiful walking paths and various bathing spots around the island. The swimming area just below the cottage is perfect for children! This accommodation is also a paradise for children with the proximity to the swimming pool, playhouse and cable car on the property, as well as the football field on the island! GOOD TO KNOW: Youth gangs are not allowed. This accommodation is for those of you who are looking for privacy, peace and quiet. Perfect for families with children. There are no boats to/from the island. The homeowner drives you with his own boat on arrival and departure. There is no service on the island, but what you want to buy you can e.g. shop in Ekerö Centrum, where there is a grocery store, pharmacy and most of what you need. Note. Drinking water is only available in the kitchen. There is a heated outdoor shower in a so-called shower house. Firewood can be purchased at a cost paid to the homeowner.
