Welcome to Värne in the middle of beautiful Småland. You are offered a charming, period-typical red wooden house on a shared plot with access to a jetty and a rowing boat (three people). You can optionally rent a motor (4hp) for the boat. The house is located in the small and quiet village right next to Solgenån, which in turn flows into lake Solgen. Enjoy your coffee on the covered terrace to the sound of the river's water playing along. You can fish from the jetty and no fishing license is required. If you go to Solgen, you need a fishing license which can be bought from a neighbour. Well-known good fishing with good stocks of pike, zander and perch. The house is on two levels. On the first floor you are greeted by a welcoming hall with good storage for outerwear and shoes. Bathroom with WC, shower and washing machine. Fully equipped kitchen with wood stove (can only be used after agreement with the owner who lives in the neighboring house). Living room but sofa, table and TV. Bedroom with double bed (140). Via the steep stairs you reach an upper hall with a sofa bed (140). Bedroom with double bed (160) and a smaller bedroom with single bed (120). Please note that there is a fire ban on the second floor. If you wish to swim, there is a municipal beach a couple of kilometers away at Lake Solgen. There you will find piers, a sandy beach, a playground and a marina. If you want longer excursions, we recommend Astrid Lindgren's world, Malilla moose park, gold panning in Ädelfors or why not Kleva mine. In summary, a nice, simple summer accommodation close to both Vetlanda and Eksjö with shopping, culture and restaurants. A warm welcome to Småland!
