Unique accommodation "in the middle of nature" by a lake with its own jetty, boat and canoe. Welcome to this completely unique accommodation with a lake view of Sör Vamsjön which is located on the border between Sweden and Norway. Here you get to experience silence, tranquility and many opportunities for animals, birds and nature experiences such as moose, deer and beavers. Birds such as capercaillie, grouse, great crested grebe, swans and other lake birds can appear, so always have your camera with you! You have access to both rowing boat and canoe and in the lake there are both trout and perch that you can catch and grill for your own good meal. You bathe from the bridge with a bathing ladder or from one of the small mountain peaks that protrude into the lake. In the fields around the cottage there are berries and mushrooms, nice hiking trails that, among other things, go around the lake and further into Norway. The hiking trail Bohusleden, well known to the area, also passes here. From the viewpoints, in clear weather, you can see both the Koster Islands and parts of Oslo. This cottage with the wide nature as a neighbor, offers a secluded environment as well as peace and quiet and starry nights. The cottage has its own solutions for its energy needs, here the energy needs are powered by solar energy, batteries and LPG. The cottage belongs to a smaller farm, from the courtyard via a glass porch you reach the cottage entrance and further into a spacious hall. Further into the kitchen with gas stove, microwave, kettle, a small refrigerator and wood stove. In the kitchen there is also access to extra good drinking water in a water can. Large living room with TV, wood burning stove and a fireplace. On the first floor there is also a toilet and a shower room where the cottage's washing machine is located. From the hall there is a staircase up to the second floor where the cottage's three bedrooms are located. One bedroom has a double bed and a cot, one bedroom has two single beds, the third bedroom has a sofa bed. Outside the cottage there is summer furniture, perfect for a moment of conversation over a good piece of food and something good in the glass, while the sun slowly sets in the northwest. In addition, you have the meadows around the cottage and down to the lake, here you can camp and experience how the day turns into night and then wake up at dawn during the birds' morning concert, a fantastic environment for all of you who love nature and nature experiences! In Strömstad there is a large selection of activities, rich restaurant life, pleasant shopping in small shops that are close to each other or why not just sit and enjoy all the boats in the harbor area. You can go to the city center and all the entertainment or to the bathing places that there are several to choose from. If you want to experience islands and the archipelago environment, there are several boat charters and bathing boat trips from the harbor in the center to several archipelago islands such as Furholmen or Kosteröarna(the Koster Islands) but also to neighboring Norway. It is also possible to rent a boat or kayak for your own exploration trips. For those interested in golf, there are several 18-hole courses in the area and right next to the villa there is access to a tennis court. Welcome to the charming Strömstad area.
