You can also visit the castles in the area, including Christinehof Castle, Kronovall Wine Castle, Bollerups Gård and Borg. You are close to the southern and eastern coastline of Skåne with kilometres of sandy beaches such as Sandhammaren, Nybrostrand, Ravlunda and Knäbäckshusen. Take a walk along the waterfront at Kvik or through the nearby forests, where there is plenty of wild garlic to pick. You can also visit nearby towns such as Simrishamn or Ystad with its beautiful streets and zoo. Stenhuvud National Park and Kiviks marknad, one of Sweden's largest fairgrounds, are also worth a visit. At weekends there are many flea markets in Österlen, and there are also many nice little restaurants and cafés in the area.
