Travel Purpose: business

Positive: Check-in was easy and simple with clear instructions transmitted by message. This is a room in the host's own appartment, but we only ended up running into each other in the morning as I left - until then I genuinely thought I was alone in the place, so clearly neither noise nor privacy are an issue. The host was very kind when I did meet them. The bed is big and nice and the bathroom is solid. The room has a balcony.

Negative: While there's excellent dark curtains covering the windows, their ability to block the bright summer night is rather ruined by the fact that the balcony door, which has a large window in it too, has a flimsy white curtain instead, letting in all the light the other curtains block. The beautiful view promised in reality prominently features the big, busy road the appartment is on - not sure where the photo the place advertises with was taken, but it sure wasn't the balcony.

Summary: Excellent room in the host's appartment, though the 'beautiful view' is a bit disappointing
