Summary: The house offers an excellent quiet holiday, in the middle of green and on the shore of a large Tikken lake. We stayed in the upper property for a week in the last week of April with 2 young kids. First of all, the house is really pristine, everything is new and in top condition. Secondly, the weather was brilliant, sunny, warm, so we could do a lot of outdoor activities, such as outings on the lake with one of the rented boats, explore the woods, the kids had lots of fun climbing on the rocks and invented loads of fairies and trolls sories. The washing machine was a pleasant surprise! Another thing we particularly liked, were the terraces, one facing the field another the woods and the very relaxing sitting place on the shore of the lake. The house is just outside the village of Tingsryd, where you can find two large supermarkets, Icca and Borjes, which offer everything you need for more or less the same price as in The Netherlands, but then , a different assortment, so it's exciting to explore the shelves! if you fancy a good meal, the restaurant at the Tingsryd Resort is really great! Excellent fish and baked potatoes! My muth is watering as I am writing ! The warehouse of Borjes is worth exploring, there's nothing one could not find there, amazing! We've been to Vaxjo for a shopping spree, nice town! Also the touristic place of Korro is very beautiful, with a good restaurant, playing areas, watermill, in the middle of charming nature. Great cakes there! Actually, where ever you go, the nature is outstanding! We returned ralaxed and will definitely return in the future! Thank you for a wonderful week in your house!
