Our apartment is located between forests, meadows and fields only 2 km on foot through the forest from the large lake Hjälmaren. You can hike, bike, swim, fish, mushroom and wadberry here; but also shop in Vingåkers Factory Outlett or take the train in 1.5 hours for a day trip to Stockholm.
You will find many interesting excursion destinations here and a cozy place to relax in the garden.
Our apartment is suitable for solo travelers, couples but also for families with children.
The accommodation
The apartment is located in a former church, which we have been restoring since 2000. It is and was particularly important to us to preserve the old and to carefully integrate the new into it.
The apartment, which is separate, has its own entrance and its own staircase. The pastor's apartment used to be here. It is equipped with a beautiful tiled stove in the living room and an old kitchen stove that is heated with wood. We provide the wood to fire the tiled stove and the kitchen stove for a fee of € 5 (a basket, approx. 10 kg).
In addition, you will of course also find a modern electric heater, an electric stove with a convection oven and grill as well as all the usual modern kitchen utensils.
Newly added is the bathroom with shower, toilet and sink and the loft with a 1.40m X 2m double bed and a single bed for one person with a direct view of the field and forest. From there and also from the kitchen window underneath, you have a wonderful view of the surroundings. You can see moose, deer, fallow deer, foxes, badgers and squirrels. Of course also birds like cranes and geese, who often look for food in the large field in front of the house.
Access for guests
Our guests have access to the garden with various seats, a barbecue area and a children's swing.
Behind and next to the garden is a beautiful forest with direct access from the garden plot. Depending on the time of year, you can collect berries and mushrooms there or just relax.
The utility room with the washing machine can be reached via the patio door behind the house.
With yoga and meditation lessons (also and especially for beginners among our guests) you can relax and pamper yourself with us. An experienced yoga teacher will guide and guide you through the lessons.
After consultation, yoga experienced can use the in-house yoga and meditation room for their own practice.

Towels, tea towels and bed linen are included in the price.

On request we provide the cot and high chair.
The sockets in the holiday home that can be reached by small children are equipped with standard child safety devices.

The environment
In the small town of Vingåker, about 8 km from Lindbol, you will find good shopping opportunities. There are grocery stores, cozy cafes and pizzerias. In Vingåkers Factory Outlett you will find Nordic designer fashion, shoes, sportswear, glass, porcelain and children's clothing at affordable prices.
A little further away, in Kumla, you can buy good children's shoes. There is a children's shoe factory with a factory outlet.
In Vingåker you will find doctors and pharmacies as well as banks with ATMs. Saftasholm Castle invites to concerts and art exhibitions.
In the area around Lindbol-Kapell there are several beautiful lakes with bathing spots.
You will find countless paths for hiking and cycling in the beautiful nature.
In autumn you can watch the cranes and geese heading south in the Kvismaren nature reserve. The migratory birds meet there in large numbers to go on a journey south together.
On the Sörmlandsleden, which is around 1000 km long, you can hike on a daily basis or, if you want to be out for longer, spend the night in shelters and continue your hike the next day.
There are canoes for rent with which you can be on the various waterways, even for several days.
If the snow conditions permit, you can trace your own cross-country ski trail here directly from Lindbol-Kapell. In Båsenberga there are illuminated trails and a small ski lift. And no, it's not dark all day; ).
You will find various museums in the area and many worthwhile excursion destinations. Among them the Kolmarden zoo. A trip to Stendörren on the Baltic Sea with beautiful rock formations, suspension bridges and an informative exhibition is certainly interesting. You should also have your bathing suit with you on longer trips. There are surprisingly many bathing spots in central Sweden.
Nearby Julita is home to Petterson and his cat Findus, and Gripsholm Castle is a day trip by car.
Or they enjoy a yoga class, the peace in the garden and just do nothing.

Lindbol Kapell is about 1.3 km from the nearest bus stop to Vingåker. Day trips to Stockholm can be made from the train station in Vingåker. The journey from Vingåker station to Stockholm central station takes around 1½ hours.
Stockholm Skavsta Airport (near Norrköpping) is about 90 km away.
Or they take the bus to Hampetorp. There is a free ferry (also takes cars) to Vinön. On the island of Vinön there is a cafe in summer and of course a nice swimming area. You can go for a walk on the island.
