In addition to nature, the island also offers cozy fishing villages and historic buildings. Visit the largest town, Visby, with its winding medieval streets, colorful houses and many churches. Its impressive 3.4-kilometre-long city wall, which has made the city a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is an experience in itself.
