Det nybyggda huset från 2019 är vackert beläget på en udde i Serarpssjön ca 25 km sydost om Vetlanda. Huset ligger ensligt i skogen och efter avtagande från allmän väg följer en mindre väg på ca 2 km. Vägen är ny och finns inte på kartan. Det är flera kilometer till närmsta granne och huset har sjöutsikt åt alla håll, perfekt för barnfamiljer och naturintresserade som söker lugn och ro. Det är hundra meter till sjön med privat badbrygga. Båt finns också att tillgå. Fiskekort kan köpas på plats om så önskas.
Huset är 130 kvadratmeter stort och smakfullt inrett och modernt utrustat. På nedervåningen finns två stora sovrum med dubbelsängar. Där finns även en liten toalett och ett större badrum med dusch, toalett och tvättmaskin/torktumlare. Huset har en öppen planlösning, kök och vardagsrum är förenade och har öppet upp till taknocken vilket ger en fantastisk rymd. På gaveln sitter stora fönster som bjuder en underbar utsikt över sjön. Det finns även en glasdörr ut mot en stor terrass med grillplats.
På övervåningen finns ett loft med två mindre separata sovrum med vardera två enkelsängar.
Det finns mycket att se och uppleva i närheten. Astrid Lindgrens värld, Glasriket, Kleva Gruva, Guldvaskning i Ädelfors, Zipline i Klavreström, älgsafari är några av många turistattraktioner. Vintertid finns det möjlighet för skidåkning i närbelägna Kettilsås och Dackestupet eller vinterfiske och skridskoåkning på sjön. I Vetlanda och Åseda finns matbutiker och caféer och restauranger och shoppingmöjligheter.
Nere vid sjön ligger en bastu som kan hyras till extra. Bastun har plats för upp till 8 personer. Den har en liten veranda att sitta på och en förkammare för ombyte och att hänga kläder i. Bastun värms upp genom att elda i kaminen. Bastun har stora fönster med en vacker utsikt över vattnet. När det blir för varmt är det bara att kasta sig i sjön några steg bort.
