Lake Skagern with Lilla Skagern is one of the 18 largest lakes in Sweden and is known for its good fishing and clean water. There are also many nice swimming spots around the lake. The streets around the lake are well maintained and invite you to take wonderful walks. The house was built in 1850 and has been carefully renovated, it contains a bathroom, a functional kitchen and comfortable beds.
Walk along the Göta Canal to Sjötorp, look at the lock and have an ice cream. Sometimes there is live entertainment in the evening. You can also rent bicycles there. It is very nice to ride on the small roads around the nearby villages. In Gullspång you can rent a dressine and along the way there is a nice swimming spot.
