Just above Gävle in the beautiful Gävle bay is this cabin with a fantastic view of the sea. The area was originally a fishing village by the sea and there is a lot to see and experience here. You can buy freshly smoked ducklings or fresh fish directly from the fishermen. Visit Böna Lighthouse or swim at one of all the lovely beaches along the coast towards Bönan. There is also a café with light meals where you can enjoy Gävle's beautiful archipelago environment. The cottage was built in 2008 and then completely renovated again in 2023 so it is modern and has all the amenities you need. There is room to sleep 4 if 2 sleep on the sofa bed, in addition there are 2 single beds, one in the living room together with the sofa bed and one in a separate bedroom. You have a large, spacious kitchen with a dining area and a balcony with a view of the sea. Below this cabin, there is also cabin 10583, if there are more people traveling and want to stay close to each other. There are plenty of things to experience in the immediate area, but you also have Gävle only 13km away, with its restaurants, cafes and shopping. Or you can pay a visit to Limön, an idyllic summer island in the Gävle archipelago that was already visited as an excursion destination in the 19th century. Here you can swim, fish, grill at rest areas, hike the nature trail, see the old and new lighthouses and visit the café during the summer.
